The first four letters of ‘VANCE’ are one letter more than the first four letters of ‘MABUS’  as shown above.

The numbers under the letters in ‘MABUS’ show the number of letters to the beginning or end of the alphabet. The sum of the numbers to the left of the zero is 5, while the sum of the letters to the right is 19.

The fifth letter of the alphabet is ‘E’ while the nineteenth is ‘S’. The implications are clear: to complete the transformation of ‘MABUS’ into ‘VANCE’ we have to replace the ‘S’ with an “E’.

1011: This is a binary number with a value of 11. Now, the eleventh letter of the alphabet is ‘K’, and 11K is a representation of ‘two king.’

The first line under MABUS shows the value of each  letter in MABUS. The second line shows the number of letters to the end of the alphabet. The red and blue letters total 45, giving us two 45s and a reference to the two presidential terms of Donald Trump. 

Under the first solution J D Vance is MABUS, while Donald Trump is Mabus under the second.

of people and beasts a horrible rout: This refers to the widespread destruction that follows the tsunami off the East Coast of America.

then suddenly one will see vengeance: This is a reference to the Russian first strike which destroys America. The Russians resort to nuclear weapons because they believe the Americans are about to launch a first strike of their own – and I’m not sure they’re wrong.

hundred hands: In Greek mythology, the Hecatoncheires or Hundred-Handers, were three monstrous giants, each with fifty heads and one hundred arms. They were Cottus (the furious), Briareus (or Aegaeon, the sea goat) and Gyges (or Gyes) (the long limbed). In the Titanomachy, they helped Zeus and the Olympians overthrow the Titans. Nostradamus is suggesting that one of the hundred-handers, probably Aegaeon, comes to the aid of the beleaguered Americans, and that is why the Russian army should not be in the Caucuses when the Russians launch their first strike.  

thirst and hunger: Either the tilting of the earth on its axis or the nuclear attack triggers a change in the weather, causing large parts of the earth to become drier. The reduced rainfall has an immediate effect on food production and results in widespread hunger.
